When Running On Empty!
Jun 28, 2026 • Rev. Kevin Kinder
Jesus gives a gracious invitation to every weary, burdened, and heavy-laden soul: “Come unto me…and I will give you rest.” In a world filled with pressure, responsibility, pain, and spiritual exhaustion, Christ does not simply offer relief from a distance — He invites us into relationship with Him.
This message from Matthew 11:28–30 reminds us that true rest is not found in escaping life’s burdens, but in coming to Jesus, walking with Jesus, and learning to rest in Jesus. His yoke is easy, His burden is light, and His heart is meek and lowly toward all who come to Him.
Come expecting to be encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that the Savior still offers renewing rest for the soul.
